Hi, I’m Courtney!

A Michigan photographer and I would love the opportunity to create a custum portrait experience for you. As a wife and mom of three, I am firm believer that the most important moments in life deserve to be remembered, not rushed.
I spent over 20 years helping people feel confident in my salon chair, and now I bring that same calming, creative energy behind the camera—capturing the real, meaningful moments that make your story yours.

I am not based in one specific town. Living right in the middle of Michigan allows me to be 2 hours or less from anywhere in the mitten, however: I consider myself a traveling photographer and always excited to travel further! . I'm always scouting new unique locations for my seniors and families.

I’m here to make this experience feel easy, relaxed, and actually fun. You don’t need to know how to pose or be a model—just come as you are, and I’ll take care of the rest.

I’m a little awkward, a lot genuine, and I lead every session with warmth, laughter, and a deep respect for the season you’re in. I want you to walk away with photos you love—but even more, I want you to remember how you felt in that moment. So if you’re looking for someone who will treat this milestone like it truly matters… you’re in the right place. I can’t wait to meet you.
Get To Know Me
Photography, for me, is so much more than just a job or a way to support my family — it’s something I truly love. I pour my heart into my work and into creating images that become my clients’ most meaningful keepsakes.

On the weekends, you’ll usually find me at our home away from home in Northern Michigan. In the summer, that means sunshine, lake days, and time with family and friends. In the winter, it’s more about being cozy on the couch, watching a movie, and slowing things down.

I love to garden. Some years it’s amazing, other years the weeds completely win — it really depends on how much time I have and how willing I am to sweat with the bugs. Either way, it always manages to give us food, and I call that a win.

My husband and I will be celebrating 20 years of marriage this September, which honestly feels a little wild to say out loud. We have two adult daughters and a son who’s in his final year of high school, so life is definitely in a season of big changes right now.

We also share our home with a 13-year-old Pitt/Lab good boy named Edward, plus two very lazy cats — Miss Luna May (half moody, half sweet gray-and-white tuxedo) and Mr. Finnagan, our orange tabby sweetheart.

Most mornings start with coffee and a podcast while I edit sessions and handle all the behind-the-scenes things that come with running a small business.

Some Sundays you’ll find me at church. Other Sundays, I’m slow-starting the day with my husband and catching up around the house. Either way, faith, kindness, and trying to be a loving, grounded human are always at the center of how I live my life.
