Winter Studio Sessions
Michigan winters can be unpredictable, but your family photos don’t have to be.
During the colder months, I’m opening my warm, bright studio in downtown St. Johns for easy online booking and simple, stress-free portrait sessions.
Whether you need updated family photos, maternity portraits, newborn lifestyle images, child milestones, or professional headshots — the studio is the perfect place for clean, timeless, natural photos without worrying about the weather.
Winter Studio collections are available from November -April.

FAMILY SESSIONS
Simple Session
Perfect for families who want updated photos but don’t need a full session. Petite sessions still give you plenty of variety — posed smiling portraits, playful prompts, and candid moments — without asking your kids (or husband!) to hang in too long.
This sessions can be either outdoor or in my studio and is ideal for families who love quick and simple, or those who update their photos often.

This Full Family Session is perfect for families who want a little more time and a complete gallery of memories. With 45 minutes together, we’ll enjoy a relaxed mix of posed portraits, playful prompts, and genuine candid moments — allowing personalities to shine and connections to unfold naturally. This session includes the full gallery of images from your session, thoughtfully edited and delivered so you can enjoy every moment captured.
Sessions can take place outdoors or in my studio, making it a great option for families who want updated photos with plenty of variety and an easy, laid-back experience.

Your gallery will include a wide range of images — from smiling portraits to natural, in-between moments — with duplicates, blinks, or unflattering test shots removed, so what you receive is a beautiful and complete representation of your time together.

Seasonal Mini Sessions
Mini sessions the perfect way to capture memories with your family throughout the year. They are short, sweet and so much fun for the whole family! These sessions are set on specific dates typically at the beginnig of spring, fall and for christmas. They have a minimum amount of time slots are are typically available for booking 6-8 weeks before hand. If you would like to be notified first before I open bookings to the public, you are welcome to be added to my VIP email list.
Couples sessions are designed to capture connection, laughter, and the moments in between—the way you naturally interact with one another. These sessions are lighthearted and relaxed, with a focus on candid movement, genuine emotion, and the unique dynamic you share. While much of our time together is spent creating natural, unscripted moments, I’ll also guide you through a few smiling-at-the-camera poses so you have a beautiful mix of images to enjoy.
Sessions are up to 30 minutes, making them perfect for couples who want meaningful, connected photos without a long time commitment. Whether you’re celebrating an engagement, an anniversary, or simply want updated photos together, these sessions are all about keeping things fun, comfortable, and true to you.

NEWBORN
If you’re seeking a photographer with a natural style to capture the genuine emotions of welcoming a new baby into your family, I am the one for you. My approach is lifestyle and documentary, focusing on organic, heartfelt moments and the quiet connection that unfolds during those early days. Rather than “posing” your baby, I believe in preserving all the meaningful moments of this season—just as they naturally happen.
Newborn sessions can take place in the comfort of your own home or at my cozy studio, allowing you to choose the setting that feels best for your family. If we’re photographing in your home, please know it does not need to be model-home perfect. I will help guide you in choosing the areas with the best natural light and offer simple tips on how to quickly tidy those spaces so everything feels relaxed and manageable.
While these sessions focus on candid, natural moments rather than traditional posing, I will still provide gentle guidance throughout our time together to help you feel comfortable and confident and to ensure we capture beautiful, meaningful images.
Our time together is typically about two hours, allowing plenty of flexibility for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and simply tending to your baby. I never like to rush these moments, and this unhurried approach helps create a calm and comfortable experience for everyone.
I also provide outfit guidance and encourage a classic, timeless, neutral color palette that photographs beautifully and never feels dated. The CBP Client Closet includes a small collection of soft, neutral-toned dresses that are especially lovely for post-delivery moms. If your session takes place at my studio, you’re welcome to explore the client closet in person. If I’m coming to your home, I’ll bring along a few curated options for you to choose from. Your newborn session also includes a heirloom 8×8 premium flat-lay album, thoughtfully designed with your favorite images. I believe these first days deserve more than living on a screen—this album becomes a tangible keepsake your family can hold, revisit, and one day share with your child as a reminder of just how deeply they were loved from the very beginning. $750
The Maternity + Newborn Bundle is designed for families who want to thoughtfully document both the anticipation and the arrival of their baby.
