Questions you may have

How Far In Advance Should I Book My Session?

I generally book up 6-8 weeks in advance so contact me as soon as possible to book your session.  Certain times of the year book even more quickly.  cjbradleyphotos@gmail.com

Am I able to have part of my session in a studio?

Yes, I have a studio and you are able to have part, or all if you prefer, in my studio.

Where Will My Session Take Place?

I will discuss locations with you.  With longer sessions, we can go to a variety of locations or just stick with a couple specific locations.  We will discuss this during your consultation. I want your session to be all about you and we want the locations to reflect your personality.  From fields to mural walls and everything in between, I have locations for everyone. I are also happy to make recommendations based on your personality and style.

Will you post my images online?

While sharing images is a great way to showcase my work to potential clients, my priority is that you love your portraits so much that you want to proudly share them too! That said, I completely understand and respect the need for privacy. Your images will never be shared online without your explicit permission.

Do you also take my yearbook photo?
Yes, I will take your yearbook photo. For those who attend a school other than St. Johns, please know your schools background and clothing rules.  I will size accordingly and return to you to send in. St. Johns students, I am familiar with the rules.

What Should I Bring To My Session?

This varies depending on the session you choose. Longer sessions a variety of outfits - 4-5 is ideal.  Although I may not photograph you in them all, bringing this many will give us something to choose from.  We want you to look your best!  When choosing your outfits, try to vary them up in both color and in styles.

Bring your outfits on hangers, or nicely folded so that they are not wrinkled.

Bring accessories - jewelry, bracelets, necklaces, hats, a blue jean jacket, sunglasses, watch, and shoes for each outfit.

Bring your phone.  You may also bring one friend, but please let us know in advance if you are planning to bring a friend.

If you have anything special you want to include in your session (like a letterman jacket your car, etc, be sure to bring it all with you.  We are happy to work your car and/or pet into your session but need to know in advance so that we can plan for including these things.

Bring a water bottle and snack in case you get hungry during your session. .

Girls should bring extra make up for touch ups and any other products they feel they might need.

A parent or guardian must attend your session with you.

I am excited to see my pictures. Will I get a sneak peak?

Yes, sneak peaks come in form of a reel  posted on instagram with-in 48 hours or less...usually less because I am just as excited as you...of your session. If you have chosen not to be published, thats okay! Your reveal and ordering appointment happens about a week after your session!

What If It Rains or Is Scheduled To Rain The Week Of My Session?

We know that weather is finicky and can change on a moment's notice.  Therefore, we do not reschedule a session based on a weather forecast.  Rather, unless special we wait until the day of your session and make a determination at that time.  If the weather is certain to be inclement, we will reschedule to the soonest possible date that we have available. If certain circumstances require a notice sooner, let me know.

What About Hair And Make-Up?

Hair and Make-Up is a very important part of what makes your pictures amazing.  Some girls get their hair done before their session and others prefer to do it themselves.  We want you to love your images, so it's up to you as to how you do your hair. and make-up. I cover this more in the senior prep guide all seniors receive upon book their session.

Am I able to order "Just Digitals?

All though digitals are an option and included in most of the sessions,  I do not offer a "just digitals" option. Having had my own seniors graduate and move on, I know firsthand how special it is to have physical prints—something to touch, feel, and display.

The number one question I get from parents is, "What, where, and how do I print these?" Including printed products in my packages takes away that stress and ensures you don’t end up with images that just sit on a USB. Think about it—how many photos on your phone have you actually printed? Having tangible, high-quality prints adds value and makes sure these memories don’t just stay digital but become part of your home and legacy. I pride myself in providing a full service experience.

Do you give RAW or unedited images?

No, I do not provide RAW or unedited images. My editing process is a key part of what makes my work unique, and it’s one of the main reasons clients hire me—they love the look and feel of my photos. RAW files are unfinished, straight-out-of-camera images. Additionally, RAW files require special software to open and are very large in size, making them unable to open without it.

Editing enhances colors, refines lighting, and ensures each image meets my professional standards.  Just like a painter wouldn’t sell an unfinished canvas, I don’t offer unedited images because they are not a true representation of my work. My goal is to provide you with beautifully polished photos that you’ll love and cherish for years to come!

Can I print my photos anywhere, or do I have to order through you?

If you receive digitals with your session, you are able to print where and when you would like. I can give recommendations. You are also able to order directly from your online gallery  from the same professional lab I use which will be up through the end of the Senior'sI senior year.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. I use Square to take card payments and they offer AfterPay, which is a payment plan option.

Can I bring props, like sports gear, a pet, or my car?

Of course! I encourage this.

Do you help with outfit selection?

Not only do I help with outfit choices, I send you my Senior Prep Guide with all sorts of outfit and other tips to help you prep for your VIP experience. I even have a senior closet you are welcome to utilize as well!

How long does it take to get my photos back?

I give a time frame of 4-6 weeks after your order, however it typically does not take that long!

Do you offer retouching?

Yes, think of anything not permanent such as acne, bruises, braces removal, unless you otherwise tell me you want to keep them.
