Spending a sunny spring day with Ava, a Class of 2026 senior at St. Johns High School and proud St. Johns Redwings, was everything I love about senior photography in Mid-Michigan. From blooming trees and golden light to open fields and charming walkways, her session was filled with variety, movement, and personality. Ava absolutely shined in every look—from soft spring florals to dramatic, flowing dresses—and having her family there made the experience even more special. It felt extra full-circle getting to photograph Ava after capturing her sister’s senior photos last year, and I love being a small part of these families’ stories as they celebrate such meaningful milestones.
