May in Michigan is such a sweet spot — the trees are blooming, flowers are starting to pop, and everything feels fresh and awake again after winter. The weather is usually comfortable, not too hot, not too humid, and you get that soft spring light with all the new greenery that makes senior photos feel bright, hopeful, and full of life.
June is one of my absolute favorites — everything is green, fresh, and glowing, and the humidity hasn’t fully kicked in yet. The light is dreamy, sunsets are golden, and it’s perfect for fields, beach sessions, and those up north senior photos that feel relaxed and magazine-worthy.
July is still beautiful, just a little warmer. August? Gorgeous golden tones — but yes, that Michigan humidity definitely shows up by then.
September and October are stunning for fall senior pictures. Warm fields, rich sunsets, cozy layers, and those classic Michigan fall colors.
