St. Johns MI Senior Photographer | Brooklyn's Class of 2027

here is something so special about watching seniors become more confident with every session, and Brooklyn is already doing just that! As a St. Johns Redwing Class of 2027 and one of my Courtney's Crew seniors, we kicked off part of her senior year with an evening exploring two of my favorite Mid-Michigan locations. We started in Portland, Michigan, using the river, historic bridge, and downtown charm before heading back to Clinton Lakes County Park in St. Johns for golden hour. May is one of my favorite times for senior pictures in Michigan because everything is fresh, green, and just starting to bloom. The weather is comfortable, the sunsets are beautiful, and nature is finally waking up after winter.

Brooklyn's outfits were mixing pieces from her own wardrobe with outfits from the CBP Style Closet. It gave her so much variety without having to shop for a whole new wardrobe.

And of course, we couldn't end the evening without Winston! Her chocolate Lab met us at Clinton Lakes, and those photos are some of my favorites. I always encourage seniors to bring along the things that make their session personal, whether that's a pet, sports equipment, instruments, or anything that tells their story.

As a dancer, Brooklyn also brought such graceful movement and confidence in front of the camera, making every location feel completely different.

A fun little full-circle moment for me is that I graduated with Brooklyn's mom, so getting to photograph her daughter during such an exciting season of life is incredibly meaningful. That's one of the things I love most about being a St. Johns, Michigan senior photographer , I get to celebrate families I've known for years while meeting so many new ones along the way. I can't wait to continue documenting Brooklyn's senior year through Courtney's Crew with even more adventures, friendships, and memories before graduation.
