Story's Senior Pictures In Grand Ledge, Michigan

When planning her senior session, Story knew exactly the feeling she wanted to create. She was drawn to water, gardens, winding trails, old brick architecture, and peaceful places surrounded by nature. Since she's involved in Chamber Choir and musical theatre at DeWitt High School, I wanted her session to feel just as creative and expressive as she is. Grand Ledge was the perfect setting to bring that vision to life.

We explored some of my favorite locations throughout Grand Ledge, including Lincoln Brick Park, downtown Grand Ledge, and Island Park. Every stop offered something unique, from ivy-covered brick walls and quiet woodland paths to beautiful river views and glowing golden-hour light. Story's flowing floral dress added such a whimsical feel to the evening, while her casual outfit gave us a completely different look along the bridges and waterfront. I especially loved how naturally she interacted with each location, making every image feel effortless and authentic.

One of my favorite parts of being a Michigan senior photographer is creating sessions that feel completely personal. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, we plan every session around each senior's interests, style, and personality. Story's session perfectly captured her love for nature, creativity, and peaceful outdoor spaces, creating timeless senior portraits she'll enjoy for years to come.
